Join a group of fairytale characters on a journey of self-discovery!  Fun and games guaranteed, along with encouraging self-confidence, communication, teamwork and creativity, while making new friends.  Weather permitting, some outdoor time may include going to the neighborhood park.

Campers will be introduced to acting skills, auditioning, learning lines and blocking, and working with props (and some puppets), putting it all together for the performance of a one-act play, The Adventures of Rose Red (Snow White’s Less-Famous Sister), by Sean Abley.

Rose Red has just turned thirteen, and the pressure is on to get famous like her sister, Snow White. Her parents, friends, a reporter and a frog are all there to give some advice. Can  a girl who wants to be "just normal" live happily ever after?

Each camper will have a speaking role in the play. Roles will be assigned on the first day after games and exercises; no preparation needed!  Note that campers will need to work on memorizing lines outside of camp hours.  Performance on the Epilogue stage will be free for family and friends, but seating is limited.

Camp Director Veronique Duprey has been active in the Indianapolis theater community for the last several years, earning Encore nominations for her last two roles at Epilogue Players, and has worked extensively with youth in school, church and theatre settings, as a teacher, director of children’s ministries, and youth production director.  She home schools her two daughters, also active actresses in the area.
